Miles' First Birthday Party

My friend Helen who I met while attending Loyola Marymount University celebrated their son Miles' first birthday with a traditional Korean ceremony called a Dol. It entails lots of food and Miles choosing from certain items on a table representing his future (pencils, money, etc). Helen made absolute sure that Miles chose the $100 bill. It was a great night and incredible Korean food. A few weeks before I took photos of them at their house in Northridge. My favorite is of the Kim Boys -- Mike, Max and Miles.
